This was a parsing bug, not a serialization bug. Remove the serialization tests.

Great catch; was this brought up via fuzzing?

Yes! HTML API fuzz tests caught this. |
Address edge cases where SCRIPT tag closers were not detected and the processor remained paused on an incomplete token. Developed in #12184. Props jonsurrell, dmsnell. See #65372. git-svn-id: https://develop.svn.wordpress.org/trunk@62509 602fd350-edb4-49c9-b593-d223f7449a82

Address edge cases where SCRIPT tag closers were not detected and the processor remained paused on an incomplete token. Developed in WordPress/wordpress-develop#12184. Props jonsurrell, dmsnell. See #65372. Built from https://develop.svn.wordpress.org/trunk@62509 git-svn-id: http://core.svn.wordpress.org/trunk@61790 1a063a9b-81f0-0310-95a4-ce76da25c4cd
Summary
When a
<script>tag terminated with<or<\, the parser would skip the next token. This would make HTML like<script><</script>appear as an incomplete token (a SCRIPT tag with no closer) to the Tag Processor.Inputs like
<script><</script>or<script>whatever… <</script>would fail to parse at an incomplete token.Trac ticket: https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/65372
